About the Author
Mohammad Asad in as Indian Computer Engineer, Researcher and Author born to humble middle class parents in Uttar Pradesh state of India. He completed his schooling in the state passing both High School and Senior Secondary as one the district toppers. He was All India Subject Topper in 10th standard in the subject Environmental Sciences by securing full marks.
He did his graduation from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim , an institute of National Importance in India, majoring in Computer Science Engineering. He was instrumental in pioneering Web Development Cell and actively contributed to institutes website. He made it to the live finale was the Winner of North-East India Research Innovation Summit hosted by NIT Sikkim for his Two Stage Launch Quadcopter. His app 'Companion' which helped with landslides prevention en-route was launched by the Honorable Governor of Sikkim. After completing his Bachelors in Technology in 2016, as a computer professional he pursued his own startup which eventually failed and since then he worked for prominent Indian startups in Healthcare & Technology sector.
He also is an Alumni of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
He writes his blog and short posts on Finance, Machine Learning, Motivation and Business. A preview of his recent research on the Rise of Unified Payments Interface in Indian Financial landscape employing Machine Learning was published in a leading Indian magazine on Outlook India.
